Submachine GBC Demo
A Demake of the Classic Point & Click Adventure
Rediscover the origins of the Submachine series in a brand-new form: a Game Boy–style demake of Submachine 1: The Basement. First released in 2005, the original game introduced players to the strange, interconnected world that would go on to define one of the most beloved indie point & click series of all time.
This demake reimagines that first entry within the limitations of the Game Boy — while preserving the clever puzzles, mysterious mood, and minimalist design that made Submachine a cult classic.
Escape the Basement
You awaken in a lonely basement with no clear way out. Explore each room carefully, collect and experiment with items, and solve puzzles that demand both logic and creativity. Piece by piece, the path forward will reveal itself… if you can find it.

I loved the original submachine games, and this was such a fantastic demake/homage. Really clever puzzles that felt at home on the gameboy. I hope you expand on this in the future to make a full game!
Thank you for playing! That's something I really want to do, let's see how it plays out
very cool game. I never played original so it was all new to me.
Oh, I really recomend the official games then! I wish I could play them again without knowing anything
